Who says going to the movies is strictly for entertainment? Now it seems it can also open career doors for new graduates.
Hire A New Grad Inc. (HANG), aimed at helping new graduates connect with potential employers, recently joined with Famous Players Media to increase its exposure to more than 2.5 million movie-goers.
HANG appears to be no stranger to large-scale collaborations as it is also the official partner with the National Job Fair & Training Expo, which continues to create job options for more than 30,000 people annually.
"Employers who come on board with us post their company job offers and also receive ... brand exposure on our hireAnewGrad.com (website)," said Sandra Jagmohan, HANG president and CEO.
HANG’s confidence in its website’s ability to connect the best graduates with the best employers has driven it to its most recent promotion, offering companies free job postings with online national employment brand exposure until this September.
When asked about this corporate move, Jagmohan replied, "As the inevitable employee shortage is on the horizon due to demographic changes … this is our way of introducing employers to the answer of their e-recruiting concerns."
For Jagmohan and HANG employees, the need to get the message out to employers that new graduates have endless potential in the workplace was the driving force behind HANG’s creation.
"We don’t just talk the talk. We at HANG believe in hiring new grads and giving them the opportunity to flourish," said Jagmohan.
